6 Week Summer Vacation in Hell: Resurrected!

June 30th, 2009

We are excited to announce that a Love You To Death remix of the album “6 Week Summer Vacation in Hell” has been released on iTunes.

For those of you who don’t know “6 Week Summer Vacation in Hell” was an album we released in 2005 as The Pettit Project.

We were quite happy with the original songs, but I personally was really bummed out by the mixes, some of the tones, and particularly with much of my singing in the initial release. I felt that I didn’t do the songs or the band justice, so when we changed our name I thought that it gave me a good excuse to re-do parts of it and release it under the Love You To Death branding.

So if you go to the iTunes store and look for Love You To Death, you’ll find “6 Week Summer Vacation in Hell: Resurrected”, with many of the songs re-sung, re-guitar worked, and ALL of them remixed.

NYC, Lauren (I Will Wait For You), A Life Divine, and She’s Just Being Gay, (Gonna Leave You in the Summertime) in particular all got a lot of work, along with a handful of others, and certainly all of them are remixed to sound much better than the originals.

GO GET THEM!
